Juni Uni

This design was created for an AI-powered chat solution specifically developed for university admission offices. The client was looking for a mascot under the brand names JuniUni or AskJuni. The mascot, named Juni Uni, needed to embody qualities such as intelligence, education, ambition, energy, and fun. They suggested using an avatar to ensure that Juni Uni would be engaging and approachable. The mascot would be a core part of the brand identity, serving both as the logo and as the chat feature icon used with the phrase "Ask Juni!"

For this application, I felt that a lion would be the perfect mascot. The keywords in the brief strongly suggested the qualities of a lion to me. Additionally, I designed the character to make eye contact with users, ready to respond to their commands. I created two minimalist design variations: one featuring the full body of the lion and another focusing solely on the character's head.
