3Bear Press

I created this logo design for a book publishing company specifically targeting young readers aged 8 to 14.

The client wanted the logo to feature three bears, symbolizing their three grown sons. The bears were meant to represent siblings, and the goal was to make them look cool and engaging for the target age group, without appearing too childish. Initially, the client envisioned the bears interacting with books, either peering over three open books or a single book above the company name.

After several ideas and iterations, I developed a design that used negative space to reflect the three sibling bears in a matryoshka-like fashion, ensuring the design was clear and easily understood without adding clutter. In the presentation, you can also see the various versions I created before arriving at the final design.
